Formed in 1996, Forces Law is a network of independent civilian lawyers from a number of Member Law Firms, who specialise in advising and acting for our Armed Forces Community.
Every year Forces Law offers training sessions to its members on matters that directly affect those who serve, have served and their families. This enables us, to work with the most up to date information available. We also encourage our Member Firms to employ service leavers, Veterans and families of those who serve as this gives those Firms first-hand knowledge of service life.
Where it is deemed to be appropriate our Members are encouraged to offer discounted rates and free consultations to our Armed Forces Community and each Members offering will vary.
During any consultation you will be advised on your legal position, the options available to you and the likely cost and time that the matter will take. You do not have to instruct a Forces Law Member Firm but we strongly advise that if your matter involves any element of service life that you instruct a Law Firm with the requisite knowledge and experience to give you the best opportunity for a successful outcome.
You’ll find our members throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland, so help is always close by. Click the pins on our map for more detailed locations.
Remember, we can also provide advice and take instructions virtually – meaning you aren’t limited to a lawyer in your postcode area.
